MOHAMED ALÍ, poeta y profesor de español vive en España. Un día recibe una carta desde el Sahara en la cual la familia le pide que busque a su hermano SALEK, quien debido a lo que creyó un error suyo, vió morir a su amigo OMAR al pisar una mina. Prisionero de los marroquies durante años y desequilibrado por la guerra, vuelve y vaga a solas por los campos minados buscando a OMAR; a quien, en su locura, aún cree vivo. MOHAMED ALÍ resuelve, ir a buscarlo.
A su llegada a los campamentos de refugiados se encuentra con ALI, quien propone a MOHAMED ALÍ viajar juntos. Ali es militar y ha recibido órdenes de realizar un informe del estado actual del muro y sus  campos minados 
Mientras preparan el viaje conocen en WARDA, una joven profesora nacida en los campos de refugiados quien se une a ellos pues nunca ha estado en su tierra.
Empieza así un periplo que les llevará a algunos de los más bellos pero también peligrosos lugares del Sáhara como Tiris o Mehariz


MOHAMED ALÍ, poet and spanish-language teacher lives in Spain. Unexpectedely, he receives a letter from his family in Western Sahara begging him to search for his brother SALEK, demented since the war, where his friend Omar died due to a landmine. SALEK blamed himself, and after years as P.O.W. of the morocans, returns crossing the Berm and wanders alone in the minefields areas hoping to find Omar still alive . MOHAMED ALÍ resolves to look for him.
Upon arriving to the refugees camps, meets ALÍ and asks him for help. ALÍ, an army officer, has been ordered to make a report about actual state of the Berm's fortifications in the Liberated Territories and agrees to help MOHAMED ALÍ in the quest.
Soon, they meet WARDA, a young teacher who's born in the refugees camps and never has seen her own land. keen to do it, joins them.
This the beginning of a trip it will take them through some of the most beautiful and dangerous places of sahara, like Tiris or Mehariz.
